My name is Madan Gopal Das. I have received this name from my Spiritual Master on 12.11.2011 in Jakarta Indonesia. By my looks might be able to tell that I was not born there. I was born in Switzerland, in a small village in the mountains called Zeneggen.
How is it that I am now practicing “Hinduism” and Vedic Astrology? The Bhagavat-Gita is telling us why. (Bg. 6.44)
pūrvābhyāsena tenaiva
hriyate hy avaśo ’pi saḥ
“By virtue of the divine consciousness of his previous life, he automatically becomes attracted to the yogic principles – even without seeking them.”
This was certainly true for me. As soon I started to think independently, the events in my life, the books that crossed my path, and the understanding of life that was forming in my mind, let me to the feeling that life is more than it seems. Even before I came across the Vedic Wisdom I solemnly promised myself to devote my life to understand it and later bring it to the world.
While I was in Bali, I got introduced to Vedic Astrology by a friend of my Father in law, a South Indian brahmana, but it was not until 2019 that I seriously started to study Vedic Astrology. At that time I got introduced to my Astrology Teacher, Arya Brighu, who is until to date instructing me in Astrology as it was taught by Maharishi Brighu.
My biggest blessing in life was always my spiritual Teachers. Having Rahu in the 11th House, the desire to share what I have learned through the medium of modern Media is part of my life. It was a long journey that led to the creation of this website and its services and I am convinced that whoever will take the content seriously, will be in one or the other form enriched.
